Why Us?
The Art of Practice
Successful resolution of health problems through chiropractic depends on the recognition of each individual's uniqueness. Each person requires different treatment depending on their age, body type, overall health, medical history, level of stress, level of tension in their body, underlying condition of their spine, psychological state and so on. As those parameters change, the approach to care should change. Utilizing the right techniques at the right time is the art of practice. Dr. Dwyer's diverse background contributes to his successful, results oriented chiropractic practice.
Techniques
Dr. Dwyer has studied a variety of chiropractic techniques that differ greatly from one another thus filling a spectrum from subtle, light touch, non force techniques to the high velocity/controlled force techniques that chiropractors are most well known for. He utilizes Torque Release Technique (use of a hand held adjusting instrument), Network Spinal Analysis, (commonly known as Network Chiropractic), Sacral Occipital Technique (a cranial-sacral approach), Applied Kinesiology (use of muscle testing) and Diversified (high velocity). He has studied hands on energy healing and soft tissue therapies such as Active Release Technique. He continues his study of yoga bringing insights gained into his practice.
